High precision IMU with multi-sensor technology
Due to the rising demand for high-precision IMUs essential for attitude control, Epson introduced its premium model, the M-G570PR. This device features high-performance six-axis sensors, high precision, low noise, and an IP67 rating for dust and water protection.
Based on the M-G370PDG it uses Epson's proprietary multi-sensor technology to improve performance by combining multiple IMUs. This achieves gyro bias instability of 0.5°/h and angle random walk of 0.04°/√h, enabling more accurate measurement. In addition, the M-G570PR helps to save energy, it consumes a low current of about 60mA at 12V.
The device is housed in an IP67-rated metal enclosure that provides optimal protection against dust and water intrusion. It features an RS422 serial communication interface with 32 bit data resolution, with a transmitting data speed of up to 2kSps.
