Envision Our Mission in Embedded Vision
Developers in embedded vision projects often face the same challenges: How do we combine reliable image quality with flexible system integration? And how can cameras operate in diverse environments, from production halls to drones and medical equipment?
Cable lengths, interface compatibility, and image processing are often obstacles that delay projects. Not to mention finding the right box pc. Together with TechNexion, we provide a solution with their Vision products: a wide range of cameras, lenses, accessories, and AI Vision box pcs that are easy to integrate, no matter the complexity of your project.
Selecting the right vision camera involves several key factors, such as:
We’ve all been there—spending hours trying to make hardware and software play nicely together. With the Vision cameras, you don’t have to stress about that. All cameras, ranging from 1 megapixel to 20 megapixels, are supported by a single software driver. Even new sensors remain compatible with existing systems. This means less frustration and more time to focus on what matters: delivering results. Depending on which interface you choose, the hardware platforms in the image on the left are supported
Every project can have a different angle. That’s why the Vision cameras give you the flexibility to choose the right interface for your needs:
You can mix and match interfaces to fit your setup perfectly; after all, integration should work for you – not the other way around.
Here’s a little-known fact: not all processors come with their own ISP (Image Signal Processor). And even if they do, they’re often locked behind OEM restrictions. With the Vision cameras, you don’t need to worry about that: They have their ISPs built right in, so image processing happens directly in the camera. So there are no extra steps or additional complexity—just crystal-clear images, straight out of the box. With the software from TechNexion, called the VizionViewer, you can adjust the camera parameters and load them directly in the camera. Regardless the hardware or OS software you use.
An Image Signal Processor (ISP) enhances image quality by adjusting parameters like contrast, sharpness, and color accuracy, ensuring cameras deliver optimal data for specific applications. For example, in a harvesting robot, an ISP ensures color precision to accurately determine when fruits are ready for harvest, feeding reliable data into AI algorithms.
The Vision cameras are driving innovation across industries, offering reliable imaging solutions that enhance automation, precision, and safety.
