Technical Support Engineer (fulltime)


Are you an embedded systems expert who loves turning cutting-edge hardware into working demos and guiding engineers from idea to prototype? Join us as a Technical Support Engineer focused on embedded Linux and Edge AI. You’ll create Linux configurations for ARM-based modules and SBCs, build Edge AI demonstration setups, and be a trusted technical partner for customers—working closely with our team and manufacturer partners (including joint customer visits with representatives from Texim and/or manufacturers).

What you will do

  • Create Linux configurations for embedded modules and single board computers (SBCs) with displays, touchscreens, wireless communication modules, and I/O for customer demonstrations.
  • Build and showcase demonstration set-ups for Edge AI systems.
  • Perform technical evaluation of embedded system product returns and provide clear findings and recommendations.
  • Join customer visits with representatives from Texim and/or manufacturers to identify requirements and troubleshoot issues on-site.
  • Provide product- and application-level technical advice to customers.
  • Support engineers throughout their application development lifecycle.
  • Represent the portfolio at (international) trade exhibitions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies through supplier training and self-study.

Your profile

What you bring (required)

  • Hands-on embedded systems experience.
  • Proficiency with high-end ARM processors (e.g., NXP, Nvidia, TI, RockChip, MediaTek).
  • Strong embedded Linux experience with common distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, Yocto, etc.).
  • Practical experience implementing Linux drivers for memory, displays, touch, wireless modules, analog and digital I/O, and serial interfaces.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Experience with Edge AI development software and hardware (e.g., Nvidia, Intel, Hailo, Axelera).
  • Languages:
    • Strongly preferred: German
    • Advantage: Chinese
    • Beneficial: Dutch
